A pocket OBS for IRL streamers.
Scenes and widgets, a full audio mix, bonded uplinks, recording, chat with moderator commands and a bot, and Stream Deck control. Everything a laptop in a backpack used to do, on the phone you are already holding.
Scenes that switch themselves
Build scenes from chat, alerts, live text, QR codes, images, video and web widgets. Give one the Starting, BRB or Ending role and the app switches to it on its own: a countdown after you go live, BRB while the uplink is weak, Ending when you stop.

Eight stingers drawn live on the GPU, in your colours and channel name, with the next scene built while the stinger covers the frame. Your own video stinger works too.
A mix, not just a mic
Mic, alert sounds, soundboard and clip audio run as separate tracks with their own faders and a limiter on the bus. A level meter sits on screen, and the app speaks up when the mic goes silent while you are live.
- SoundboardYour own files, one tap each, straight into the stream.
- Read aloudChat and alerts in your ear, with stream warnings jumping the queue.
- Dead airA spoken warning when the mic falls silent on stream.
- RecordingTo Photos, with or without going live, saved in fragments so a crash keeps what was recorded.
Bonded, so one bad link doesn't end the stream
Point it at an srtla:// ingest and the stream is split across Wi-Fi, Ethernet and cellular at once. Adaptive bitrate backs off when the network struggles and climbs back as soon as it clears.
- DestinationsKick, Twitch, YouTube and Restream presets, plus any RTMP, RTMPS, SRT or SRTLA server.
- CodecsHEVC where the ingest takes it, H.264 where it doesn't, chosen per destination.
- ReconnectsRetries with backoff and tells you out loud when the stream drops and comes back.
- BackgroundKeeps streaming while you check a message or open Maps.
Moderate like you're at the desk
Kick, Twitch, YouTube and Restream chat in one sheet, with 7TV, BTTV and FFZ emotes. Type /clear, /timeout, /slow, /raid or /poll as you would in the platform's own chat. The app's own bot answers viewers and runs your timers.
- Bot replies!location !speed !distance !weather !battery !uptime !commands
- TimersRepeating messages while you're live, paused during BRB.
- Thank-yousFollows, subs, gifts and raids answered by the bot, never as you.
- Stream managerTitle, category, viewers and stream key for Kick, Twitch, YouTube and Restream.
Your Stream Deck already speaks it
The app talks obs-websocket v5 on your local network, so Stream Deck, Touch Portal and Streamer.bot control it as if it were OBS. Switch scenes, go live, record and mute, behind a password, never over cellular.
- CamerasBack, front, USB-C cameras like a DJI Osmo, dual camera, and optional Ray-Ban Meta glasses.
- LooksBrightness, contrast, saturation, warmth and your own .cube LUTs per camera.
- Privacy blurFaces, text and barcodes blurred on demand before the frame is encoded.
- Live ActivityStream state on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, with your bot commands one tap away.
Build your own copy, from Windows
MetaStream isn't on the App Store. You build it from the source with your own Apple Developer team: GitHub's macOS runners compile it, and you install it over USB from Windows, Linux or a Mac. No Mac needed at any point.
- Fork the repo and pick your bundle ID.
- Add your Apple signing and the platform apps you want as GitHub secrets.
- Push to main. The build-ipa workflow signs an encrypted IPA.
- Download it, decrypt it and install it over USB with pymobiledevice3.
